Here is a wide shot showing the peripheral footings completed, and most of the footings for the interior columns poured.
Also visible are the stacks of concrete blocks for the exterior walls. These blocks will form the exterior walls, which will be steel reinforced. The blocks are threaded over the re-bar as they are laid and filled with mortar, forming a solid, steel-reinforced wall.
The tripod with the yellow box is what they use to level the footings. The yellow box is a laser on a swivel. Once this laser is precision-leveled, it sends a laser light, and it can be swiveled to shine all around the area of the foundation, providing a common level reference for all the footings.
