Summer Camps for Kids

JP2 Summer Camps is a summer program designed to give kids ages 5 - 14 an opportunity to have fun while learning. Campers experience St. John Paul II's academics, athletics, and fine arts programs while interacting with JP2 faculty, students, and coaches.

Camp Hours: There will be two sessions for camps.

Session 1: 9:00PM - 12:00PM

Session 2: 1:00PM - 4:00PM

Camps will run Monday - Friday beginning on June 1, 2026 and end on June 26, 2026.

Registration: Registration is not complete until payment is received. A camp T-shirt is included in the camp fee. A medical and media release form for each camper must be completed as well. The grade level for camps is the grade a child enters in August 2026.

Cost: $150 per weekly session (Drama Camp is a two week session)

JP2 Summer Rhythm & Beats Camp: Create. Collaborate. Make a Joyful Noise.

At JP2, we believe every talent is a gift from God. This weeklong daytime camp combines high-energy drumline and bucket drumming with hands-on music production using GarageBand and MIDI — all within a faith-filled environment that encourages excellence, teamwork, and creativity. Campers will learn the fundamentals of drumming and rhythm notation as well as music production in JP2's own media lab. The week will culminate with a performance and showcase for family and friends. (4th-8th Grade)

Drama Camp: Week 1 and Week 2

Drama Camp is a two-week activity. Participants learn the craft of acting and staging a thirty-minute performance, with opportunities to act and to work in the stage crew. Participants from grades 4 - 8 may attend. A public performance will cap the two weeks! Get ready to shine on stage.

Sing to the Lord A New Song: “He who sings prays twice.” – St. Augustine of Hippo

Discover the beauty and power of singing the Mass. JP2’s weeklong Sing to the Lord Camp invites campers to explore the music of the Catholic liturgy and grow as confident, prayerful musicians. Campers will learn that sacred music is not just performance — it is prayer that lifts hearts to God. Campers will gain both musical training and liturgical understanding, discovering how sacred music draws the community into fuller, more joyful worship. The week concludes with campers leading music for either the Liturgy of the Hours or Mass. No prior experience required — just a willingness to sing, learn, and grow in faith. An advanced track for students with choral experience may be offered concurrently dependent on interest. (4th-8th Grade)
