Congratulations to Sophomore Lauren Gwazdauskas for being selected as the Female Athlete of the Month for the month of August!
Here are a few words Lauren's Flag Football coaches have shared:
Lauren has shown so much growth in this sport. Even though she has faced injuries, she has always tried her best to get back on the field and contribute in any way she could. Her positive attitude at practice has been inspiring—she is quick to help others, teaching rules and techniques, and encouraging her teammates. She is consistent in showing up, always ready to improve, and has already demonstrated perseverance with a smile on her face.
As it says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Lauren embodies this verse through her determination, attitude, and faith in pushing forward despite challenges.
Congratulations! We are proud of Lauren and all she has accomplished here at JP2 and with the flag football team. We are happy to have you all as part of our community. I will be sharing this as a news message to the community this afternoon!
