Here are a few words Marysa’s Cheer coaches have shared:
Marysa Smyth is a dedicated, hardworking, and joyful member of the JP2 Cheer team. She arrives at practice before her teammates and coaches, sets up all our mats, and makes sure everyone is taken care of before practice starts. She has proven to be an outstanding leader, caring not only about her stunt group's safety but also the safety of the whole team. She is the first to volunteer when they are needed and receives corrections/critiques with enthusiasm to better herself as a cheerleader. Her work ethic is incredible, and if she is having trouble with choreography, she makes sure it is recorded and practices it at home and prior to practice. Marysa is truly a team player and perfectly exemplifies what the “Athlete of the Month” represents.
