Congratulations to Sophomore Nevaeh Zambrano for being selected as the Female Athlete of the Month for the month of December!
Here are a few words Nevaeh’s Soccer coaches have shared:
Nevaeh exemplifies the mission and values of our Catholic school community through her character, leadership, and commitment both on and off the field. She consistently demonstrates integrity, humility, and respect for her teammates, coaches, opponents, and officials. Her conduct reflects a genuine desire to honor God through her actions, aligning athletic excellence with strong moral character.
From an athletic standpoint, Nevaeh has been an outstanding contributor to the JV Girls Soccer program, and even at times being called up to support the Varsity team. Her work ethic, coachability, and competitive spirit set her apart. She approaches each practice and match with focus and determination, continually striving to improve while placing team success above individual recognition. Her effort and consistency have had a positive and measurable impact on team performance.
Equally important is the example Nevaeh sets for her peers. She encourages teammates, leads by example during challenging moments, and remains composed and respectful regardless of the outcome of competition. Her attitude and actions reinforce the values of faith, discipline, and service that our athletic programs seek to instill in student-athletes.
For these reasons, we believe Nevaeh is highly deserving of Player of the Month recognition. She represents the best of John Paul II Catholic High School Athletics and serves as a role model for what it means to be a Catholic student-athlete.
Congratulations! We are proud of Nevaeh and all she has accomplished here at JP2 and with the JV Girls Soccer Team this winter season!
