Juan Baldonado'21
I am an Arizona native, the youngest of 3 siblings, proudly active in the west valley. Growing up, I attended Catholic school. It was my parent’s mission to provide in every way possible for their children to learn in an excelling, academic environment. I am proud to know the tremendous volunteerism and support they have offered throughout many of our after school programs. As Assistant to the Athletic Department, I’m honored to instill the same Lion spirit in the many students who represent their family, friends, and community. I am motivated to serve this community; that the west valley may watch the Lion’s Athletic Department grow.
Hayden Umbdenstock'24
Hello, my name is Hayden Umbdenstock and I will be working as an Athletics Assistant with Mr. Sanchez for the remainder of this school year. I attended St. John Paul II all 4 years of high school, graduating in the class of 2024. I am currently attending Grand Canyon University where I am studying Exercise Science. With this degree, I plan on either pursuing athletic training or a career as an athletic director. The reason I wanted this internship is to see and get experience of what it's like to work as an AD and to also better my skills and prepare myself for a potential future in this field.
